Biotek Additive Benefits
Mixed with fuel, BIOTEK triggers an increase in the energy liberated in combustion by making this more complete and, consequently, better engine performance.
An increase in energy in combustion translates directly into energy saving.
We know that, in combustion, part of the heat produced, associated with the products of combustion, is lost; these losses may be grouped in two types:
Losses through Unburned Fuel (Qi):
These correspond to the calorific value of the products of combustion that have not been fully oxidised.
Enthalpy of the products of combustion (Qhs):
This corresponds to the heat used in heating the fumes to the temperature at which they escape since the heat they carry is not recovered from this point.
BIOTEK achieves a considerable reduction in these energy losses by significantly reducing unburned fuel and combustion gases, giving rise to better energy use.
Reduction in Contamination
The lower the losses through unburned fuel (Qi) and the lower the losses through the heating of gases generated through bad combustion (Qhs), the better the combustion performance.
Lower emission of hydrocarbons and unburned fuel
Lower emission of carbon monixide (CO)
Lower CO2 emission
Lower NOX emission
Lower emission of nitrogen derivates
Using BIOTEK reduces the maintenance tasks that should be undertaken in the tanks, engines, combustion chambers in the short and long term and, in general, all the physical elements that form part of the fuel circuits and devices in which combustion is performed.
Improved combustion ensures that the usual chamber residues are significantly reduced. Not only is their appearance prevented, but BIOTEK also contributes to the gradual elimination of those that already exist.
Equally, it gives rise to the elimination of residues from post-combustion zones, preventing their incrustation.
It is Non-Abrasive.
It dissolves the paraffins and sludge that occur with fuels.
It disassociates the Hydrogen and Oxygen particulates, preventing humidity problems in the fuel.
It prevents fuel crystallisation and freezing.
It prevents the formation of Soot Incrustation, increasing the speed of heat transfer in the pipes.
It prevents the formation of hard slag in homes and refectories caused by the mixture of residues with metal sulphides.
It prevents the formation of incrustations and impedes the formation of cracks and fissures.
